Powertrack Mobile Impact Crushing Unit Processes Limestone Aggregate with Flexibility and Efficiency

This project is located at an overseas limestone quarry where the raw material are in varies size, with a maximum feed size of 600 millimeters. The client’s core requirement is to efficiently crush the raw ore while flexibly adjusting the end product specifications based on on-site orders and stockpile conditions: the system must be capable of focusing on producing single-grade aggregate, as well as quickly switching to simultaneously produce two specifications of material — 0–30 mm continuous-grade aggregate for cement and asphalt concrete production, and 30–90 mm aggregate for road base material. This flexible production model places higher demands on the equipment’s crushing efficiency and adjustment flexibility. After a comprehensive evaluation, the customer ultimately selected the mobile impact crushing unit Powertrack I-13DS as the core solution.

The mobile impact crushing unit I-13DS has performed exceptionally well in this project. Its heavy-duty single-chamber crusher and high-efficiency rotor design can easily process large limestone up to 600 mm in size. Utilizing the principle of impact crushing, it produces high-quality aggregate with a good particle shape that has been well-received by the market.

 

The return conveyor features a compact design with V-belts for smoother material flow and greater ground clearance. It can rotate 90 degrees, allowing it to either convey large material back to the feed hopper for re-crushing or directly discharge end product. This capability is central to the rapid switching between single and double discharge modes. When customers require two end product specifications simultaneously, adjusting the conveyor’s direction allows for the diversion of a portion of the crushed material.

 

The I-13DS features a highly integrated modular design that combines feeding, crushing, and discharge functions into a single unit. Compared to similar products, its transport dimensions have been optimized, resulting in a more compact structure. This offers significant advantages in terms of space-efficient transportation, particularly in countries and regions with relatively strict transportation requirements.

 

The dual-power drivn system (flexibly switching between diesel/plug-in power) provides the equipment with broad site adaptability. In areas with access to grid power, the system can be switched directly to grid power, which not only significantly reduces fuel consumption and operating costs but also effectively minimizes operational noise and carbon emissions, helping customers achieve green and sustainable mining production goals.
