On December 18th, 2023, a signing ceremony was held between Changzhou National Hi-tech Zone and Metso Group, marking the official landing of Metso's high-end equipment project in Changzhou. Zhou Chengtao, Secretary General of Changzhou Municipal People's Government, Shi Xuchong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changzhou National Hi-Tech Zone (Xinbei District Party Committee) and Mayor of Changzhou National Hi-Tech Zone, Hang Hongwei, Deputy Director of the District Management Committee and Deputy Mayor of Changzhou National Hi-Tech Zone, and Leung Hiu-fung, President of Metso Greater China, were present at this signing ceremony.
