On the morning of April 2, 2025, Powertrack Machinery (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Metso Group - a global leader the aggregates, minerals processing and metals refining industries, held a grand opening ceremony in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The Consul General of Finland in Shanghai, Leaders from Changzhou Municipality Government, Changzhou National High-Tech District and Binjiang District, President of Metso Aggregates, President of Metso Great China, Vice President of Metso Aggregates, Vice President of Metso Great China, General Manger of Powertrack attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
In order to accelerate the pace of localization and better serve the Chinese market, Metso Group invested and established Powertrack in Changzhou City in December 2023, specialize in the R&D, production and sales of electric mobile crushing and screening equipment. Leveraging on Metso's knowhow and Changzhou's strong industrial chain, Powertrack provides competitive solutions for aggregate production, engineering construction and construction solid waste treatment. After one year's preparation and trial operation, Powertrack has set up a high-standard assembly line with a strong professional technical team, developed cost-effective solutions and a variety of dual-power equipment and obtained remarkable sales in domestic and overseas markets with its products exported to France, Africa, Indonesia and other overseas regions.
The opening ceremony started with a welcome speech by Federico Maurilli, Vice President of Metso Aggregates, who, on behalf of Powertrack, warmly welcomed Ms. Anu Vuori-Kiikeri, Consul General of Finland in Shanghai, and expressed sincere respect to Changzhou Municipal Government and High-tech District Government for their efficient and pragmatic support, as well as expressed sincere gratitude to all the partners for their long-term trust and cooperation. At the highlight of the opening ceremony, Powertrack signed a contract with Yunnan Botian LiuGong Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. And Sanhe Mingsheng Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. on the spot, and Powertrack dual-power mobile scalper will set a benchmark for green processing of aggregates.
A product display and demonstration area were also set up at the site, presenting the performance of several crushing and screening unit. Powertrack is oriented to the green concept and by flexibly switching between grid power and diesel generators, it reduces operating costs and carbon emissions and improves the flexibility and operational efficiency of the equipment.
